Customer Resource Center

Classes that can be converted to online classes are resuming immediately.  All other classes will resume as soon as the mandated closure is lifted.  Your instructors and our Training Coordinators will be communicating with you regarding all courses.

Healthcare

Clinicals have been suspended until further notice.  We will work with you to ensure that you are able to complete your clinical hours as soon as the mandated closure is lifted.

Our Accrediting bodies have extended testing dates to accommodate students affected by COVID-19.  We will work with you to ensure a smooth testing experience.

Manufacturing

The plan right now is April 6th but that is subject to change.  Your instructors and our Training Coordinators will be communicating with you regarding all courses.

Business

DOT

SCDOT has issued a directive cancelling all SCDOT certification courses from March 16 through June 30, 2020 due to the Agency’s response to the COVID-19 event.  If you were registered for a certification course between those dates, it has been cancelled. Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in South Carolina, SCDOT may even extend the cancellation date past June 30.  Announcements from SCDOT regarding how COVID-19 is affecting the SCDOT technician certification program may be found here:http://info2.scdot.org/Materials/Pages/QPAnnouncements.aspx

Currently, the options are to either request cancellation of your registration with a full tuition refund or to transfer to a future section of the same course that has available openings (contact Angela Morris at amorris1@tctc.edu for information about future sections).  Students registered in a cancelled section will be contacted regarding the currently available options, and if any other options become available, these students will also be notified at that time.  Students may also contact conted@tctc.edu to request a refund or a transfer.

SCDOT has issued a blanket extension until August 31, 2020 for all SCDOT technician certifications that originally expired after January 1, 2020.  SCDOT will re-evaluate the need for further certification extensions at that time.  Announcements from SCDOT regarding how COVID-19 is affecting the SCDOT technician certification program may be found here:http://info2.scdot.org/Materials/Pages/QPAnnouncements.aspx
