Tony has always enjoyed kids and would love to be an elementary school teacher. "I was excited to learn about Tri-County's Call Me MISTER program. It is a wonderful opportunity to start at Tri-County and transfer to a four-year university." The Call Me MISTER (Mentors Instructing Students Toward Effective Role Models) program was created by Clemson University and offers tuition assistance and other support to African American males pursuing teaching in South Carolina's elementary schools. "I want to combine my teaching with coaching football," said Tony, a former football player and Shrine Bowl participant.
