KENNEL LIMITATIONS SAMPLING

  • Concrete floors are cracking and flaking which harbors pathogens
  • Chain link fence and framing is heavily corroded in multiple locations
  • Current chain link style kennels are inadequate for ideal separation of large dogs and control of airborne disease
  • Lack of individual outside kennel access for the dogs
  • Inadequate food preparation space
  • Limited ventilation in all cat and dog rooms which greatly complicates illness management
  • Currently space allows for only four quarantined animals in a converted closet with limited ventilation
