The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Co-op

The Hydropower Training Program is a cooperative work experience with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District. While attending classes at Tri-County Technical College full-time students work part-time for the Corps of Engineers at the Hartwell power plant.

Participating students will earn a salary and be eligible for job benefits as they learn the inner workings of a hydroelectric plant. The ideal candidates major in Industrial Electronics Technology, Mechatronics Technology, or General Engineering Technology. There is a minimum cumulative GPA requirement of 3.0.
