Dance the night away with us!!
Whether you want to learn new dance steps or are interested in getting into better physical shape our dance classes may be just what you are looking for. We offer dance classes in a variety of different genres so take a look and join us for a great time.
SHAG
Join us if you have 'sand in your shoes!! Learn South Carolina's official state dance, The Shag. The popular beach shag is a smooth version of the old rock and roll or jitterbug dances. Lots of turns are part of this dance style. Couples are preferred, but singles are welcomed. Leather sole shoes please. Currently we offer Learning to Shag: Basic Level I and Basic Level II. So if you already know how to shag and want to learn more advanced steps register for Level II.

BALLROOM
Come and learn to dance like the stars! You will learn the exciting art of touch dancing! Dance the waltz, fox-trot, rhumba, tango and more. Couples are preferred but singles are welcome. Leather sole shoes required.

BELLY DANCE
Try the mysterious beauty of BELLYDANCE . . . a centuries-old art to help you get in shape, trim & tone, improve coordination, prepare for childbirth, reduce stress, and have fun! Terrific for teens, marvelous for the middle-aged, and super for seniors. Increase joint mobility and flexibility as you gain grace and poise. Boost your self-esteem! Women of all shapes, sizes, and ages are "shaking things up", by learning BELLYDANCE! ENROLLMENT LIMITED TO LADIES ONLY!

ZUMBA
Zumba is the hottest craze in exercise and dance- fitness! Zumba is a latin based, fun inspired dance fitness class that features international music and dance moves including salsa, cumbia, cha-cha, belly dancing, hip-hop and so much more. Zumba is more than just a dance class- it's a fitness party!
Our class is different from many of the classes being offered. We recognize that you may not be familiar with Zumba and may be intimidated to go to a class that provide an hour of Zumba dance but little instruction of the steps involved in the program. Our class meets for 1.5 hour sessions so that you are given 30 minutes of step instruction and then 1 full hour of Zumba fitness.
This class is for anyone who wants to learn Zumba! It is for young and old, men and women...any shape and size. This is not about how well you dance or how good you look...but how you feel...and you will feel awesome!
At the end of the 4 week class, you will know how to do the basic Zumba moves and learn 13 dances, and maybe even shed a few pounds and inches! We will be offering an advanced class session after the beginner class session is over. The advanced class will be a full hour of Zumba fitness. We will also continue to offer beginner classes as well.
You will need for class: bottled water, a towel, sneakers or gym shoes, hair band or clips for long hair, and layered clothing. (tank tops are great...you will sweat dress appropriately!) Bring a friend and make a commitment together to a new, healthy lifestyle this year with Zumba!
