Program Description
Tri-County offers a variety of courses for security and law enforcement personnel and the public to help make our community a safer place to live. Law Enforcement
Tri-County Technical College offers Police Reserves and Basic State Constable programs. In addition, several Other Seminars are offered throughout the year.

Private Security
This QuickJobs program is a WIA-eligible training program.   
Tri-County Technical College is offerings the new SLED-approved Private Security Officer Certificate Program. This program allows prospective and current security officers to earn an elevated SLED credential.  

Tri-County is a primary training provider for security officers whose companies want them to be company trainers. Two 40-hour train-the-trainer courses are offered (SLED Level I Security - Classroom Instructor and SLED Level II/III Security - Firearms Instructor).

In addition, several Other Seminars are offered throughout the year.

Public Safety Class: Self-Defense & Emergency Planning
Learn how to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your workplace in the event of an emergency by enrolling in one of our handgun safety, self-defense, or emergency planning classes.
