2013-2014 Bridge to Clemson Orientation Ambassador Selection

Thank you for your interest in being an Orientation Ambassador for the Bridge to Clemson Program!

Bridge Orientation Ambassadors are enthusiastic individuals that want to help future Bridge students get acclimated with the Bridge to Clemson Program during Summer Orientation. Ambassadors will interact with future Bridge students and their parents by sharing their experiences at Tri-County Technical College, Clemson University, and the residential environment and will facilitate various aspects of the orientation day.

Qualifications: Bridge Orientation Ambassadors must be current Clemson students that have successfully crossed the bridge or current Bridge students that are on track to complete the Bridge requirements by the end of the 2013 May term. Academic records will be reviewed to ensure these requirements are successfully met.

Availability: All Orientation Ambassadors must be available from 7:30am - 7:00pm during Bridge Orientation days on June 18, June 19, June 20, June 25, June 26, June 27, and July 16 . Individuals interested in applying must be available for all orientation dates and times in order to be considered. Ambassadors must also be available for training on April 21, 2013 from 2 - 5 pm.

Compensation: Ambassadors will receive a staff shirt and $100.00 per session.

Application Process: Applicants should complete the online application and request that a current Clemson or TCTC faculty staff member submit the recommendation form. The application and recommendation form are due by no later than 5pm on Friday, March 1, 2013. Please note that by submitting the online application, you are granting permission for Bridge staff to verify your current academic standing, including the minimum GPA requirement of 2.5, and student conduct records with TCTC and Clemson University.

Candidates will be chosen for an interview based on their qualifications and the contents of their application. Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted at the phone number and/or email provided in the application to schedule an interview for the week of March 11 through March 15. Candidates that are not chosen for an interview at this time will be contacted via email.

In order to be considered for this position, you must have completed and submitted online application and ensure that your recommendation form has been submitted by 5 pm on March 1, 2013. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

March 1 - Ambassador Application and recommendation forms due by 5pm
March 4 - 8 - Selected candidates will be contacted to schedule an interview
March 11 - 15 - Selected candidates interviewed
March 25 - Offer Letters sent out via email
April 5 - Ambassador Acceptance Letters Due to Bridge to Clemson Office
