When Lisa was laid off from her job over a decade ago, she learned of a program for dislocated workers that would pay for her tuition and books at Tri-County. "It seemed like the perfect time to pursue higher education. I had a flexible class schedule, which allowed me to stay home with my children during the day, and my school expenses were all paid," said Lisa. After Lisa graduated from the Administrative Office Technology program in 2001, she interviewed for a position in the Institutional Research Office at Tri-County and was immediately hired. "I am living proof that the College believes in its graduates," she added.
