Procedures & Application for Employment
- General Information
All positions are advertised externally for a minimum of five days. The closing date lets applicants know when the hiring committee will begin the screening and interviewing process. The College uses a committee structure on almost all positions. Committee size and make-up varies depending on the vacant position. To be considered for any position, you must complete a Tri-County Technical College Application via our on-line application system. A resume or vita may be included but may not be used as a substitute for the application. Although we are a State of S.C. Employer, we do not use the same application form.
- Applying for a Position
To apply for a position, complete the on-line Application for Employment form. You will create a login and password in our system, which will enable you to apply to positions and check the status of any position for which you have applied to. We will also communicate with you via your e-mail account to let you know the status of positions for which you have applied.
In addition to completing the application, you may also attach supplemental documents such as a resume/vita, letter or reference, etc. Applicants for faculty positions may wish to attach copies of transcripts; however, official transcripts will be needed at the time of hiring.
