PENDLETON --- Tri-County Technical College will offer a Residential Inspector Exam class April 12 - May 12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 - 10 p.m. at the Pendleton Campus. This class prepares individuals for the South Carolina Home Inspector examination.
Students will learn about standards of practice, defects recognition, inspection guidelines, reporting methodologies and liability management. In addition, students will learn how to create a home inspection report that will detail the home's condition, including the heating and cooling systems, the plumbing and electrical systems, the roof and siding, as well as the framing and foundation. Students who successfully complete this class will be exempt from the 50 documented inspections required by South Carolina State law.
