Tri-County Technical College is going "Tobacco Free" effective August 1, 2014.
TCTC is committed to supporting a culture and environment of health for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. A tobacco-free environment contributes substantially to a healthier environment.
Effective Aug. 1, 2014, tobacco use will be prohibited on all Tri-County Technical College campuses and learning centers, including all buildings, parking lots, automobiles, and outdoor areas. "Tobacco" refers to any and all tobacco products, whether inhaled or ingested, as well as electronic cigarettes.
The College will provide information and support to those who wish to stop using tobacco products through the Student Assistance Program, the Employee Assistance Program, and other resources and services. Reminders of the implementation date and support services will be provided on a regular basis.
