Department of Campus Safety
In order to enable the success of our students and productivity of our faculty and staff, the Department of Campus Safety leads a community-wide shared responsibility for safety on campus by providing professional law enforcement and security services, community education and outreach, and effective emergency planning and response.
The Department of Campus Safety at Tri-County Technical College provides services on all Tri-County campuses. The Department is staffed by Campus Police Officers who are certified by the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy and commissioned by the Office of the Governor as State Constables. The Department also employs State Certified Security Officers. We work closely with the local sheriff departments and other security and law enforcement agencies.
