Department of Campus Safety
The Campus Safety Department leads a College-wide effort to ensure a safe environment for all students, employees, and visitors by providing professional law enforcement and security services, community education and outreach, and effective emergency planning and response. We provide services on all campuses and are staffed by Campus Police Officers certified by the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy and commissioned by the Office of the Governor as State Constables. We also employ State Certified Security Officers and work closely with local sheriff’s offices and other security and law enforcement agencies.
